CDL A Driver $26 Per Hour Lewistown, PA TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Lewistown, PA. This is a temp to hire position.
CDL A Driver Details - Schedule: Sunday - Friday; 1100 am - 300 pm start time.
- Pay: $26/HR plus OT after 40 hours
- Freight / Load Type: Garage Door Parts
- Equipment: Automatic trucks
- Handling: Light touch - strapping of pallets, wheeling of carts
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements: - Experience: 9 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities: - Safely operate class A vehicles on local routes
- Transport medical equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including strapping/load securement.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
