CDL A Driver - Container exp required - $28.00 Per Hour Location: Lithia Springs, GA
About the Position We are currently seeking a CDL A Driver for local delivery in Lithia Springs, GA. MUST have a Valid TWIC Card. This position offers a pay rate of $28.00 per hour with opportunities for overtime. The driver will be responsible for heavy touch freight and will enjoy the benefit of being home daily. This is a day shift position with shift start times TBD.
Pay & Schedule - Pay Rate: $28.00 Per Hour, OT after 40hrs
- Hours per Week: 40+
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, Saturdays if needed, Day Shift - start time varies
Job Details - Route Type: Local Delivery
- Freight: Palletized office supplies
- Equipment: Container run to Savannah Port
- Handling: No Touch
Key Responsibilities - Transport goods to designated locations safely and efficiently
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Minimum Requirements - 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- No more than 4 jobs in the last 5 years
- MUST have a Valid TWIC Card
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- CDL A License
- Physically capable of safely lifting up to 70lbs
