Key Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the construction industry, with specific experience in framing, remodeling, or finish carpentry.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing, training, and scheduling crews, and delegating tasks effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of OSHA regulations, building codes, and safety procedures.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing crews, reporting to superintendents, and filling out paperwork.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to solve on-site, field-related issues.
  • Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver's license is required for driving to sites.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50-90 pounds, work at heights, and operate in various weather conditions.
  • Technology: Basic computer skills or experience with project management software may be required
