CAD Technician

Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing CAD drafting support, including creating as-built drawings, evacuation maps, and other project related visuals. This position requires a strong proficiency in CAD software, specifically Bently Microstation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide CAD drafting support for projects, including creating and maintaining as-built drawings, evacuation maps, campus maps, security maps, and other project-related visuals.
- Develop, implement, and maintain CAD standards within Bentley MicroStation.
- Create and maintain client material and construction standards within the CAD system.
- Manage and organize CAD drawings and related files within the client database.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of CAD drawings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
- Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation is required.
- Experience with RS Means, Onscreen Center, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, and PlanSwift is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime and travel as needed.
- M ust be a United States citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Construction Management, General Contracting, or Real Estate firms.
- Provide CAD drafting support for projects, including creating and maintaining as-built drawings, evacuation maps, campus maps, security maps, and other project-related visuals.
- Develop, implement, and maintain CAD standards within Bentley MicroStation.
- Create and maintain client material and construction standards within the CAD system.
- Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation and ProjectWise.
