Business Operations Intern - Part Time



Job Summary:

This position is officially titled Corporate Support Intern. As a Business Operations Intern, you will report to a Manager within the assigned department and gain hands-on experience, contribute to cross-functional projects, and learn how different departments collaborate to drive overall company success. The Business Operations Intern plays a key role in assisting multiple departments-including Accounting, Human Resources, IT, Operations, and Risk-with administrative and operational support.

Work Schedule: Part Time

  • 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Tuesday thru Thursday)

What You'll Be Doing:


As a Corporate Support Intern, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, document management, and handling correspondence.

  • Supporting ongoing departmental projects by gathering data, conducting research, and assisting with planning and execution.

  • Preparing reports, presentations, and other materials as needed.

  • Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring the accuracy of sensitive information.

  • Responding to internal inquiries and providing assistance to team members.

  • Helping to organize company events, employee engagement activities, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardization, and participating in process mapping and documentation efforts.

  • Exercising professionalism, tact, and discretion when handling confidential information or sensitive situations.

  • Collaborating effectively with team members-teamwork and cooperation are essential for success.


What We're Looking For:


  • Education: Associate's Degree (or currently enrolled) preferred.

  • Experience: 1 year of experience in the assigned department or administrative support role is preferred.

  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Accountability: Takes responsibility for actions and outcomes.

  • Accuracy: Completes work thoroughly and with precision.

  • Communication: Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Physical Requirements:


  • This position requires the ability to sit at a desk for extended periods.

  • It involves frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and phone.

  • Light lifting and carrying of office supplies and files may be required occasionally.


Work Environment:


  • This is a professional office environment. The role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
