Position: Full-Time Warehouse Clerk

Location: Buffalo, NY

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 PM - 5:00 PM


Position Overview

The Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and distributing equipment and

materials to support our projects and field staff. In addition to basic inventory management, this role will

play a key part in identifying process efficiency opportunities, implementing new workflows, logging

device details (MAC & IP addresses), and preparing equipment for site installs.


Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inventory Management

Collect parcels from the front office and process incoming shipments.

Receive deliveries, unpack equipment, and log all devices into NetSuite-including serial

numbers, MAC addresses, and assigned IP addresses.

Perform cycle counts and full inventory audits as needed; maintain accurate inventory records.

Produce periodic inventory reports (daily/weekly) and flag discrepancies.

Logistics & Equipment Handling

Schedule and coordinate large afternoon deliveries with carriers.

Deliver tools and equipment to onsite field technicians when required.

Retrieve and confirm tracking information for direct client shipments; update the tracking log in

NetSuite.

Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely (forklift experience is a plus).

Warehouse Organization & Safety

Maintain a clean, well organized warehouse layout to maximize efficiency and safety.

Assist with palletizing shipments, staging equipment for night/overnight transport, and ensuring

clear forklift aisles.

Enforce proper labeling of bins, shelves, and storage racks.

Report any safety hazards or maintenance needs promptly to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Process Improvement & Workflow Setup

Proactively identify bottlenecks in receiving, staging, or delivery processes and propose solutions.

Develop, document, and implement new standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory

handling, equipment staging, and returns.

Create and maintain checklists, workflow diagrams, and tracking sheets (e.g., for incoming

equipment quarantine, repair, or QA testing).

Collaborate with ITC operations and field teams to streamline order fulfillment and minimize

downtime.


Pre Install Preparation

Staging and configuring AV equipment before site installs-confirm firmware, network settings,

and accessories.

Log and label devices with MAC addresses and static IP assignments; upload to the central

configuration database.

Assemble installation "kits" (cables, adapters, mounting hardware) based on the install schedule;

double check completeness against site checklists.

Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure all pre install paperwork (site drawings, network

credentials, rack elevations) is accurate and available.


Other Duties

Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Manager

to support overall department goals.


Requirements

Experience: 1-2 years in a warehouse, inventory management, or logistics role (AV industry

experience is a plus).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with NetSuite or similar inventory management software.

Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (MAC/IP logging).

Certifications & Licenses:

Valid driver's license for occasional offsite deliveries.

Willingness to undergo forklift/pallet jack training.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.

Soft Skills:

Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Proactive mindset: ability to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements.

Excellent communication skills to coordinate with field teams, vendors, and project

managers.

Additional:

Must be punctual and reliable, with the flexibility to stay late if unexpected shipments

arrive.

Commitment to safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment.


The pay range for this role is:
18 - 23 USD per hour(Buffalo, New York)
