Box Truck Driver - Light Touch - $21 Per Hour - Hauppauge, NY About the Position We are seeking a Box Truck Driver for our client in Hauppauge, NY. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $21 per hour and requires 1 year of Box Truck driving experience and a valid DOT Medical Card.
Pay & Schedule - Pay Rate: $21 per hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a start time of 2:30 AM on Mondays and 3:00 AM Tuesday through Friday
- Occasional Saturday work (5 Saturdays per year, typically before Valentine's Day and Mother's Day)
Job Details - Route Type: Local
- Freight: Delivering flowers, botanicals, and supplies
- Equipment: 16' refrigerated box truck
- Handling: Unload by hand/hand cart
- Daily Stops: 14 stops per day
- Hours: 8-10 hours per day
Minimum Requirements - Valid Driver's License
- 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Medical Card Required
