We're seeking future team member for our Associate, Credit Advisory Underwriting I role located in Pittsburgh, PA. Hybrid work available.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Responsible for underwriting Investment Credit Lines. Generally focused on timely completion, while also ensuring compliance with Risk Policy guidelines, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Responsible for collateral monitoring and tracking; approval of collateral releases; setting up collateral accounts.
  • Responsible for tracking collateral securing loans, including setting up accounts, following up on collateral changes, and releasing collateral.
  • Works with support staff to ensure that all documents collected are complete and accurate, and proper compliance measures are followed regarding the contents and storage of the documents. Assists with distributing work to support and process improvement.
  • Work with internal parties for the completion of underwriting and collateral related functions.
  • Prepare necessary reports for underwriting team, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with internal clients as well as 3rd party vendors to remove barriers to successful document custody implementation.
  • May be responsible for allocating and checking work of support team members. May be responsible for specific supervisory review and approval actions.
  • Timely completion of all assigned compliance tasks is required.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 1-3years of total work experience preferred.

  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment, quick turnarounds

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $52,000 and $90,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
