Job Overview: Arbors Management Inc. ( Arbors Management Website ) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team for a Section 8 family housing property in Export, PA. As part of the Arbors team, you will help manage day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with housing regulations, and support both residents and our property management team. The ideal candidate will have experience in property management, particularly within the Section 8 program, and a passion for delivering excellent service to our community.
Responsibilities: - Assist in the overall management and operations of the Section 8 family housing property, ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Support leasing functions, including conducting property tours, processing rental applications, and assisting with lease signings.
- Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolutions and a high standard of service.
- Verify resident eligibility for Section 8 housing, ensuring accurate and timely documentation processing.
- Process rent payments, late fees, and security deposits in accordance with Arbors Management's policies and procedures.
- Maintain organized tenant files, lease agreements, and documentation as part of ongoing property management.
- Collaborate with the Property Manager to oversee move-ins and move-outs, ensuring smooth transitions for tenants.
- Monitor the cleanliness and overall appearance of the property, ensuring it meets Arbors Management's community standards.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs, working closely with our on-site maintenance team to resolve issues promptly.
- Assist with marketing efforts to attract and retain residents, ensuring full occupancy and fostering a positive community environment.
- Distribute resident notices, including lease renewals, policy updates, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure adherence to all safety codes and health regulations for the property.

Requirements:
Qualifications: - Prior experience in property management. Knowledge of affordable housing and/or Section-8 policies is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to professionally interact with tenants, vendors, and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree or certification in property management is a plus.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-service oriented mindset.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
- Must have a valid driver's license and personal transportation
- Must pass pre-employment drug and background screening
