About the Role:

The Application Balancer role in Deposit Operations plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth process of balancing and reconciling entries in multiple types of accounts. This position is also responsible for research of customer requests for account documentation. The Application Balancer will work closely with the branches to resolve discrepancies. By efficiently managing daily tasks, the Application Balancer contributes to the overall functions of the bank. Ultimately, this role is vital in fostering trust and reliability in the bank's services, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in banking or financial services.
  • Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile various general ledger or deposit accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with banking regulations.
  • Maintain and update records of all deposit transactions in the banking system.
  • Assist customers with inquiries related to their deposit accounts and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare reports on deposit activities and trends for management review.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential for the Application Balancer, as these tools are used daily to create reports, manage data, and communicate effectively with team members. Excel skills are particularly important for analyzing deposit trends and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The ability to navigate these software applications enhances the Application Balancer's efficiency in processing transactions and resolving customer inquiries. Additionally, strong organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
