Aerospace Mechanical Engineer ECS ANSYS

Our client, a leader in the Aerospace industry, is seeking an Aerospace Mechanical Engineer ECS ANSYS to join their team. As an Aerospace Mechanical Engineer ECS ANSYS, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative projects in environmental control systems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Aerospace Mechanical Engineer ECS ANSYS

Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid - 3 onsite, 2 remote)

Pay Range: $70 - $80/hr plus benefits

What's the Job?

  • Design, develop, and analyze Environmental Control System (ECS) turbomachinery and heat exchangers.
  • Conduct heat transfer analysis ensuring compliance with customer and program requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise on a variety of projects and programs.
  • Communicate effectively with project engineering teams and conduct design reviews.
  • Present findings and progress to internal and external customers while contributing to process improvement initiatives.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's or PhD preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically with turbomachinery.
  • Proficiency in ANSYS FLUENT, Mechanical, FLoEFD, or Star CCM+ with demonstrable project experience.
  • Strong experience with environmental controls systems (ECS)
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
