Job Summary
Primary responsibilities for this role are to support management of various transaction related documents as well aggregate due diligence documents from sellers and agents for tenant-in-place home acquisitions. In this role the Acquisitions Analyst will work with third-party agents, Market Specialists and Managers on the Acquisitions and Closing teams to facilitate approvals, proper review, document execution and distribution. This position reports to the Managing Director of Asset Management and is located in the Chicago office.
Duties and Responsibilities
??? Track and manage contracts, addendums, and other documentation for acquisitions and closings.
??? Organize due diligence materials for real estate transactions, including but not limited to Tenant in Place documents. Verify materials are complete and in compliance with contractual requirements and Second Avenue's standards.
??? Communicate with third party agents to collect required information.
??? Ensure that all transaction files are compliant with company policies and state/local real estate regulations.
??? Maintain communications regarding status of document review and approval with other Second Avenue departments and personnel; and distribute signed documents accordingly.
??? Prepare addendums and closing documents to facilitate transaction closings and onboarding residents.
??? Enter all data that is required in a timely manner across all platforms as designated by the company.
??? Communicate effectively with other departments.
??? Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
??? Residential real estate transaction experience with extensive knowledge of real estate contract documents
??? High level of organizational skills and ability to multitask.
??? Strong interpersonal/communication skills.
??? Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
??? Must thrive in a high-pressure environment with the ability to prioritize competing tasks and meeting deadlines.
??? High level of attention to detail.
??? Proficient with Excel and Word.
??? Team player - energetic, enthusiastic, and personable with the ability to collaborate and work independently.
Education and Experience
??? Associates degree or higher.
??? Willingness to obtain a real estate license in various markets is a plus.

??? Ability to organize workload, to prioritize activities and follow-up appropriately.
