Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an Acoustic Analyst level 3 or 4 to support the development and ongoing support of world-class US Navy machinery (turbines, generators, motors, and other system components based out of Sunnyvale, CA. What You'll get to Do:
Collaborates with cross-functional internal and customer teams, produces technical reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for diverse stakeholders, and represents the team in customer-facing presentations.
Prior acoustic analysis experience is not required for this role. Exposure to Finite Element Modeling is preferred. This requisition may be filled at a higher level based on the qualifications listed below: Basic Qualifications for Acoustic Analyst level 3:
Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline with 5 years relevant work experience; or Master's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 3 years of relevant experience; or Ph.D in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with no relevant work experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Basic Qualifications for Acoustic Analyst level 4:
Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline with 7 years relevant work experience; or Master's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 5 years of relevant work experience; or PHD in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 3 years of relevant work experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in developing system-level finite element models.
