2nd shift Forklift Operator

Shift: 3:45 PM-12:15 AM

Hourly Rate: $21.76 an hour + $.50 shift differential

We are looking for someone with Stand-up high reach forklift experience to help in shipping and receiving. You will report to the Shipping Supervisor and join a team of about 20 associates.

You will work on 2nd shift, 3:45pm-12:15am. Overtime is a requirement for the role when necessary. You will report onsite at our Jackson, TN location.

A Day in the Life of a Forklift Driver:

• You will safely operate a forklift
• Work in a cold environment for extended periods of time
• Complete Trailer checks
• Use SAP to bull out trucks, receive materials, and make adjustments
• Cycle counts
• Maintain all paperwork associated with materials that come in and go out of the warehouse
• Provide coverage for Shipping and Receiving activities
• Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements & Conagra's policies
• Awareness of food safety risks and escalates found risks to lead/supervisor.
• Perform all assigned cleaning and preventative maintenance responsibilities.

You Have:

• At least 1 year of experience
• Comfortable with working in a cold storage environment
• Knowledge of GMP requirements is ideal but not mandatory
• Physical-Lifting and Carrying: negligible pounds occasionally up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds to pull or lay objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position requiring the use of upper extremities and back muscles.
• Push or Pulling: using extremities to exert force to push, pull, draw, drag, haul, or tug objects exerting a negligible amount of force always, up to 10 pounds frequently.
