Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, a leader in aerospace manufacturing, is seeking a Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting process development and optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Pay Range: $50.00-$60.00 Hourly

What's the Job?

  • Provide test and manufacturing support for components of the ring laser gyro product line
  • Analyze current process controls for optical components and develop additional methods to measure and control manufacturing processes
  • Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis
  • Develop improvements in product design and manufacturing processes for cost and cycle time reductions

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Optics, Physics, or Mathematics
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or process engineering
  • Experience with optical systems, components, and modeling
  • Experience with optical metrology and product yield management
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and collaborate across teams
