Process Technician

Process Technician

Seeking a hands-on Process Technician to drive production and engineering goals within our electronics manufacturing team. Ability to coordinate, communicate and work directly with engineering and production members to achieve goals, build quality product and make continuous improvements. Provides support to engineering team in implementing work instructions, build processes and machine programming.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of complex electronic assemblies with pre-production or prototype documentation.
  • Develop and modify work instructions.
  • Develop processes, tooling and fixtures to ensure good product.
  • Perform training as required (processes, rework, equipment, etc.)
  • Develops work instructions and maintenance procedures.
  • Maintenance and repair on machines as required.
  • Machine programming (AOI, XRAY, Conformal coating machines, Press fit, ect.)
  • Assist with NPI's and Production goals as needed.
  • Provide feedback to engineering.
  • Qualifications:

  • Experience in electronics manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Ability to develop and modify assembly instructions and machine instructions.
  • Engineering or technical degree/training preferred.
  • Understanding of J-STD/IPC is ideal.
  • Ability to learn and use ERP systems.
  • Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
  • Able to lift 40 lbs and comfortable working with machines.
