Description Do you have experience as an Engineering Program Manager? Are you looking for a new role as an Engineering Program Manager in the medical device industry? Remington Medical, Inc., a growing medical device design and manufacturing company located in Alpharetta, GA, has an immediate opening for a Program Manager I.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage RMI and CM projects by interfacing and coordinating between customers, purchasing, materials, production, quality, regulatory, and engineering.
- Analyze existing equipment and manufacturing processes and offer continuous improvement conceptual planning and implementation activities.
- Troubleshoot existing production requests and assist with the R&D efforts of RMI and Contract Manufacturing (CM) products
- Write technical reports and documentation (i.e., Design History, Risk Management, Product Realization Files, Mold Verifications and Product/Process Validations).
- Implement new technologies and processes to expand manufacturing capabilities.
- Perform engineering analysis on RMI and CM products.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing resources and timelines.
- Update and maintain engineering drawings and documentation.
- Adhere to and ensure compliance with Quality System SOPs, work instructions, drawings, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), ISO, and FDA requirements.
- Provide Training to other team members as needed.
Requirements:
- BS degree in Engineering (or related discipline) or education/experience equivalency preferred; Professional Project Management training required w/o bachelor's degree
- 1-2 years of related project management experience preferably in medical device or other FDA regulated industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing resources and timelines.
- Strong knowledge of product life cycle processes/protocols, injection molding products/equipment/processes, electrical systems, mechanical and hydraulic application, and lean manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, and MS Project.
Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
