Electrical Engineer 3

Our client, a leader in industrial and scientific solutions, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. As an Electrical Engineer , you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting large-scale electrical distribution projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, strong communication skills, and analytical problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Portage, MI

Pay Range: $42/hr-$44/hr

Shift: M-F 1st shift 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and test the manufacture of electrical equipment, including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Evaluate the cost effectiveness, reliability, and safety of various design models.
• Estimate project timelines and costs to ensure timely completion.
• Simulate and test the operation of machines, structures, and systems to optimize performance.
• Investigate and test products from vendors and competitors to maintain industry standards and innovation.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
• Ability to create sketches, engineering drawings, and perform common computations.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory and its application to engineering projects.
• Experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering.
