CAD Designer NX or CATIA

Our client, a leader in the aerospace and industrial sectors, is seeking a CAD Designer NX or CATIA to join their team. As a CAD Designer NX or CATIA, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting product development and design improvements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, independence, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CAD Designer NX or CATIA

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay: $30/hr plus OT/Benefits

What's the Job?

• Design and develop new products using computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as NX or CATIA
• Make improvements to existing products based on in-service issues and market strategies
• Design mechanical parts, subassemblies, and components for complex systems
• Support projects across various markets by applying mechanical engineering expertise
• Collaborate with team members to find innovative, cost-effective solutions for product enhancements

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Three or more years of design experience with CAD, preferably NX or Catia
• Experience designing assembly tooling and test support equipment
• Familiarity with gas turbines for aerospace applications is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to learn new technologies
